RABBI DANIEL M. BRONSTEIN is congregational Scholar at Congregation Beth Elohim of Brooklyn and a doctoral candidate in Jewish History at JTS. He has lectured and taught in a variety of synagogues as well as academic and informal learning settings. Daniel has also contributed to The Forward and the book Jews and American Popular Culture, among other publications.
